Amazon Trip Vintage Cinema Chair with Side Table

A stunning original vintage cinema seat that has been fully refurbished and reupholstered in ‘Amazon Trip’ velvet with midnight blue velvet piping and panel.

The velvet is 100% polyester and is super soft to the touch but is hard wearing. The seat came out of a cinema where it had been used as a Bingo hall and they had added small side tables.  When we purchased the seats we replaced the table top with new wood but kept the size and shape the same.

Fabric 

Rich with painterly pattern of jungle animals on Dark Blue, Amazon Trip is an exciting take on a dramatic riverboat trip through the lush Amazon jungle on Velvet Fabric. Conveying a sense of intrigue and discovery through a beautifully decorative depiction, this patterned designer fabric takes you on a vibrant journey of exploration, with the detailed Jaguar as a bold focal point, amongst Rainbow Boas, Macaws and playful Monkeys, surrounded by jungle flowers and foliage. A rich and unusual patterned furnishing fabric which is sure to capture attention.

The refurbishment includes;

• Metal legs professionally shot blasted & powder coated
• All wood fully stripped and professionally stained and varnished
• All internal upholstery has been replaced
• Upholstered in 100% polyester velvet
• Seats mounted onto a solid wood plinth
• Additional wooden tray table included

Condition;

Refurbished but they retain some dings and dents, they have lived a life and have a story to tell but we think that is the beauty of buying vintage items, each one is unique!
