This original Evertaut industrial chair dates from the 1930s and was designed for use on factory and workshop floors. Built for machinists, it features a solid adjustable steel base with a shaped wooden seat and curved metal backrest, offering both strength and practical comfort.

The surface shows genuine wear consistent with age and use, giving the chair a rich, honest patina that can’t be replicated. Every mark speaks to its working past, making it as visually compelling as it is functional.

Today, the chair works beautifully as a statement piece in a studio, home office, kitchen island or commercial interior, where its industrial form and sculptural lines bring character and edge.
