Combining vintage materials with sustainable UK-based printing and textile artistry honed over four decades, each cushion is utterly unique. Nigel has spent over 40 years working across all forms of textile art and design, with his work exhibited widely across Europe—including the poignant “Tour of Duty” in 2018. A former lecturer at NCAD in Dublin for 25 years, Nigel now creates original artworks on paper and cloth from his studio in Market Harborough, combining hand and machine stitching with digital manipulation to craft unique textile pieces.
Every piece is a slow, considered labour of love—sustainably produced using premium fabrics printed in the UK with environmentally sound methods. Vintage materials are carefully sourced to avoid waste, and Nigel's work is often inspired by narrative, history, and the natural world. Birds, animals, and flowers frequently feature, and there are opportunities for commissions incorporating specific species or even custom pet portraits.
